Recording Sessions

Karen can create a varied genre of sound for all your recording needs. She has had the pleasure of recording at all the major studios in Los Angeles, with versatile experience recording for film, pop, television, commercials, or video game projects. She can be heard on movies such as It Chapter 2, Frozen 2, Black Adam, and Shazam! Fury of the Gods. For a list of credits, click here.

Remote Recording

Karen has a home studio which allows her to work with composers, artists, and producers regardless of their location. She can deliver high quality recordings from her studio using a Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 interface and an AKG c414 XLS microphone. She can deliver raw files as well as mixed tracks, cutting down the time required for your project.

Pop Concerts

Whether it’s a live performance or a televised event, Karen has all your pop needs covered. She can perform a variety of genres such as rock, pop, hip hop, country or indie. She has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with artists such as Sting, Christina Aguilera, Hozier, and Smokey Robinson.

Orchestra Concerts

Karen has over two decades of orchestral experience and has served as principal cellist in several different orchestras. In Southern California, she currently performs with Santa Barbara Symphony, New West Symphony, Long Beach Symphony, and Pasadena Symphony.

String Writing

Karen can create string arrangements of popular music or help you add strings to an existing track. She loves to elevate works with the addition of original string parts. Karen truly is a one-stop shop as she can write her own parts, remote record them from her home studio, and deliver raw or mixed tracks.

On-Camera

If you need a cellist for your film, music video, or TV show, look no further. Karen combines her modeling, acting and musical expertise to give you a captivating on-camera performance. She has appeared in commercials and projects for brands such as Cadillac, T-Mobile, Samsung, Amazon, and Taco Bell. She has also appeared in music videos for Asian singers Liu Yifei (Mulan) and Ginger Root. Live television performances include performing with Christina Aguilera on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and with Sting and Hozier on The Game Awards.
